As part of its constant effort to honor those who serve local youth in the classroom, AJB Broadcasting announced its May Apple For Teachers recipient on Wednesday.
For the month of May, Castle Heights Elementary teacher Raegan Allred was given the award. Allred was nominated by Giovanni, one of her students, and presented the award at a Carbon School District meeting in front of the school board, fellow colleagues and members of the community.
Apples for Teachers will begin again in September and, according to AJB Broadcasting, there will be a new twist on the program for the upcoming school year.
