The Spartans had the home advantage in a region match up against North Sanpete on Thursday.
Tayvan Cook contributed to Emery’s win with a shutout. Tanyon Allred scored the only goal of the game in the first half, giving Emery the win over North Sanpete.
The boys will go on the road again Tuesday and play South Sevier.
