It has been a tough year economically for many in the community. This year, the United Way of Eastern Utah is again working had to help assure a bright Christmas for area children with the Angel Tree Program.

Many generous businesses, service group individuals and other organizations have stepped in to help by “adopting” these angels and buying gifts for the children for Christmas.

However, more assistance is still needed. United Way director Bill Maikranz stated that as of Monday, there were still approximately 125 angels that need to be adopted. Those wanting to help can stop by the United Way Office on Main Street in Price and adopt an angel. Also, cash donations are being accepted for those who would rather let someone else take care of the shopping.

United Way of Eastern Utah remains upbeat that all the children will be served this year with the community’s generous spirit.
