Price American Legion Post #3 will be conducting its annual flag retirement ceremony on the evening of June 14. This will begin at 5 p.m. and will take place at the corner of 1st East and 1st North, adjacent to the Price Fire Station.
The program will start off with a flag presentation by the Price Elks Lodge. The Boy Scouts will display the various flags and describe their place in history. Individuals or businesses that have tattered and worn flags can drop them off at the Price Elks Lodge, located at 57 West Main Street in Price, Monday through Thursday after 4:30 p.m.
The public is encouraged to attend this program to witness the retirement, showing the dignity and respect given to each flag.
