Members of the community got in the mood for spring at the annual Carbon County Home, Garden and Recreation Show on Friday and Saturday.
The event, put on by AJB Broadcasting, has been the mark of spring in the Castle Country area for years, offering community members a chance to browse the latest and greatest trends for their homes and gardens. This year boasted even more for attendees to enjoy with the addition of an outdoor recreation area as well as a man cave area.
Those in attendance were also treated to a variety of giveaways, including a chance to win a pizza oven, Wi-Fi grill, an Apple iWatch and much more.
According to Amanda Holley Paiz, one of the event’s organizers, it is estimated that over 5,000 people attended the event that featured over 60 vendors.
This year’s event was made possible by AJB Broadcasting, Sutherlands, Ward Landscapes, Castleview Hospital, Southwest Plumbing Supply, Breinholt’s Southeast Paint & Design, Tony Basso GM, Drabs 2 Fabs, Riley’s Mobile Entertainment Center, Vivint SmartHome, IFA, A Johnson Heating, Take A Break Spas & Billiards, Carbon Emery RV and many other local vendors.
