Saturday at 9 a.m. Price’s Main Street will be overflowing with Cal Ripkin Little League and softball players.
The Carbon Cal Ripken boys baseball and girls softball will honor Billy Coleman as the Grand Marshall of the opening day parade. В Coleman is a lifelong resident of Carbon County and an avid lover and supporter of all sporting events in Carbon County.
Coleman has worked for the Carbon County School District for 41 years and is scheduled to retire from the Castle Valley Center in May.
The parade will begin this Saturday at the corner of 400 E. and Main and continue down Main Street to 100 W. The Price Elk’s Lodge will provide refreshments immediately following the parade.
