Pinnacle Canyon Academy hosted its 16th annual Wild West Fundraiser on Saturday evening.
This year, the fundraiser featured three new events. Members of the community could participate in a horseshoe tournament, a Texas Hold ‘Em tournament and the Mustache Dache 5K Fun Run. In addition to these activities, crowds gathered at the school for a silent auction, a kids carnival, dinner and bingo. Pinnacle students provided musical entertainment throughout the evening.
The annual event raises funds for fifth grade students at the school to travel to Washington D.C. The trip allows students to receive hands-on education in relation to their U.S. history classes. Remaining funds go toward field trips throughout the school year for students in all grades.
