The chance to apply for a cow elk, doe deer or doe pronghorn hunting permit is almost here.
Applications for Utah antlerless permits will be accepted through www.wildlife.utah.gov starting May 30. Your application must be received through the website no later than 11 p.m. on June 20 to be included in the draw for permits.
Everything you need to apply for a permit is available at www.wildlife.utah.gov/2014-antlerless-hunts.html.
Judi Tutorow, wildlife licensing coordinator for the DWR, says the web page provides several tools to help you apply. “Detailed maps, boundary descriptions, a list of available hunts and a link to the application itself are among the items you’ll find,” she says.
