DWR Press Release

The chance to apply for a permit to hunt cow elk, doe deer or doe pronghorn is almost here.

Applications for Utah antlerless permits will be accepted online starting May 28. You must submit your application through the website no later than 11 p.m. on June 18 to be included in the draw for permits.

Everything you need to apply for a permit is available at this webpage.

Judi Tutorow, wildlife licensing coordinator for the DWR, said the webpage provides several tools to help you apply. “Detailed maps, boundary descriptions, a list of the hunts you can apply for and a link to the application itself are among the items you’ll find,” she said.

For more information, call the nearest Division of Wildlife Resources office or the DWR’s Salt Lake City office at (801) 538-4700.
