Future Farmers of America members from Carbon High School hosted a farm day for local third graders from the area’s elementaryВ schools.
The event was conducted on Wednesday at the Carbon County Fairgrounds. FFA members educated the younger students about agriculture and allowed them to participate in several activities. Some of the activities included shearing sheep, milking cows and learning where food comes from. There was plenty of fun and education at the farm day event that was enjoyed by all in attendance.
