The Ascension St. Matthew’s Church hosted its annual Fall Fare on Friday evening as well a Saturday morning and into the afternoon.
There was lots of food involved in this event. Volunteers were serving soup, rolls and provided drinks for all that attended on Friday evening. Saturday morning, there were breakfast casseroles and the usual morning drinks.
Even organizers were also selling homemade baked desserts and canned garden goods. A silent auction took place at the fare as well. There were homemade items and donations from local merchants, members from the Ascension St. Matthew’s church and others who participated. Costume jewelry was also sold during the special occasion.
