Eight Emery Lady Spartans tallied at least two points in the team’s non-region win against Beaver Tuesday night, 39-31.
The win snapped Emery’s two-game losing streak. Kacelyn Toomer and Bayler Griffin scored 18 of the team’s 39 points, with Toomer notching a team-high nine points. Jessica Olsen and Megan Jensen each chipped in five apiece.
The Lady Spartans finished the game strong, scoring 13 points in the final frame to Beaver’s seven.
Emery (4-5, 0-0 Region 15) will host 1A Duchesne (9-2, 1-0 Region 17) on Thursday before beginning Region 15 action next Tuesday at Grand.
