The all star nine-year-old team will be heading to the state tournament in Richfield next week. There was only one all-star team in that age group. The team will play a practice game against a 10-year-old team to stay sharp.
In the 10-year old bracket, Carbon Blue beat Helper on Wednesday night. Emery was a winner over Carbon White. On Friday at 4 p.m., Emery takes on Carbon White and the winner will take on Carbon Blue at 6 p.m.
Carbon traded wins with Emery in the 11-year-old bracket. They will play for the championship game Friday evening.
It was Carbon Blue over Carbon White in Helper in the 12-year-old bracket. The two play again Friday evening. A tie breaker will take place on Saturday at 11 a.m. if
needed.
