The Emery County Business Chamber is proud to welcome those in Castle Country and beyond to the Beat the Winter Blues Business Fair and Festival.
This festival is slated to take place on Feb. 8 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. as well as the following day, Feb. 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Those that are prompt will be rewarded as a free gift will be offered to the first 500 attendees.
The Emery County Recreation Center is playing host to this fair and festival, which boasts a multitude of activities and fun. Food, entertainment, local businesses, crafts and junior entrepreneurs are all on the docket for the two-day event.
A teen night during the festivities will feature open skate from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., which includes hot chocolate and skates while supplies last. The skates must be checked out from the Emery Rec office.
Those that wish to enter a booth in the fair and festival are met with a great bonus: the $50 booth fee officially goes toward a 2019 chamber membership. A 10×10 space includes a table and two chairs.
However, the great amenities that come with the fair and festival do not stop there. There will also be a silent auction with many goodies. The proceeds from the auction will benefit local suicide prevention and assistance programs.
