Many big horn sheep have decided to spend the summer in Sunnyside.

The DWR put signs throughout the town guiding interested parties to telescopes set up for better viewing.

The sheep typically come down from spending the winter in Green River Desolation Canyon. The expedition starts sometime in June, and the sheep stay until August or September.

The sheep can be found just off the road, best in the late afternoon around 4-7 p.m. An estimated 20 sheep have been spotted so far this year.
