Despite threatening skies, the annual Castle Country Friendship Ride departed the Sutherlands parking lot at noon on Saturday.
The Canyonland’s Chapter from Moab joined the ride this year as bikers headed down Highway 10 to Ferron and then took the cutoff to 1-70.
Once on the freeway the riders went to Ray’s in Green River for lunch. The groups then separated, with the Moab Chapter heading back to Grand County and the rest returning to Price. A bike blessing preceded the departure.
