BLM Locates Abandoned Horse in Vicinity of Buckhorn Draw

PRICE, Utah – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Price Field Office was alerted on July 26 to a potential trespass horse along the Buckhorn Draw Road. The suspect horse was first spotted near the Limestone Benches within the North Sinbad grazing Allotment on July 25 as being a grey gelding with no other identifiable markings.

The BLM is asking for assistance from the public to identify who the owner of horses. If the owner is not identified and the animals are not removed, the BLM intends to impound the horses and turn them over to Emery County as per State of Utah Law, which can occur five days after the notice is posted.
