A ribbon cutting and open house welcomed one of Castle Country’s newest nurse practitioners, Dave McOmber, ACNP-BC, to the area on Thursday.
A neurology specialist, McOmber will be joining the office of Dr. Thomas Buchanan at Castleview Neurologic Associates, where the staff treats disorders of the brain, spinal cord and nerves.
“We are thrilled to welcome Nurse Practitioner Dave McOmber to our community,” said Mark Holyoak. “He provides a great blend of education and experience with a strong passion for providing community-based health care.”
McOmber completed his Master of Science, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree, as well as his Post-Masters Certificate in Nursing Education from The University of Michigan, College of Nursing. He first came to the area in February, upon which time he immediately began accepting new patients.
Castleview Neurologic Associates provides care for dementia, epilepsy, headaches/migraines and Parkinson’s disease. Patients can also find care for spine and neuromuscular disorders, multiple sclerosis, stroke and traumatic brain injuries.
McOmber brings a wife and two young children to the area, where the family is excited to become a part of the community and experience the outdoor activities in the local area.
