Bobby Lawrence Karate was recently welcomed to Emery County with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the studio. Heather Orgill, operator of the studio, was joined by the Emery County Business Chamber to cut the ribbon. Several students and their families also joined in the celebration.
Bobby Lawrence Karate (BLK) is an eclectic style of karate blending Shotokan Karate, Kenpo Karate, Kwon Shu Karate, Arnis, Dan Zan Ryu Ju Jitsu, Brazilian Jui Jitsu, American Sport Karate and Folk Style Wrestling. The studio is located in Orangeville in the S&V Glass Building (30 West 300 South).
In addition to the ribbon cutting ceremony, the event also featured belt promotions for many students to commemorate the advancements they have made in karate.
“Congratulations to everyone at belt promotions last night,” the studio shared following the event. “You all did great. It is a joy to see your progress.”
Miss Emery BrookLynn Potter and her attendants were on hand to round out the fun and welcome the business to the county.
