Body of Missing Carbon County Man Found in Price River

The body of a missing Carbon County man was located in the Price River on Saturday morning.

Tyler Joseph Patrick, 35 years old, went missing on Sept. 18, which was brought to the attention of local authorities on Sept. 20.

According to Helper City Police Chief Trent Anderson, a number of searches took place in the Helper area following the missing person report. Eventually, Carbon County Sheriff Jeff Wood enlisted the assistance of Carbon County Search and Rescue.

Members of the search and rescue team located Patrick’s body in the Price River next the Carbon Country Club Golf Course on Saturday around 10 a.m.

According to Anderson, the exact cause of death has not been released. The investigation remains active and authorities are investigating potential leads.

“We are thankful for the sheriff and the men and women of the search and rescue team for helping bring closure to Mr. Patrick’s family,” Anderson concluded.
