The Boys and Girls Club of Carbon County welcomed community members to an open house and blood drive on Monday afternoon. A mobile blood bank from the American Red Cross was stationed in front of the club, allowing local residents the chance to donate blood in a private setting.
Boys and Girls Club members had the opportunity to explore the mobile facility while providing moral support to teen program director Kelsey Meno as she donated blood. Other members enjoyed various activities while community members explored the club facility during the open house.
The event was conducted to celebrate National Boys and Girls Club Week, which runs March 23-29.
