Bruce Bean Named the Administrator of the Year

During the Carbon School Board meeting that took place on Wednesday, well-known administrator Bruce Bean received special recognition.

This recognition came in the form of the announcement that Bean was awarded the Administrator of the Year title from the Utah Interscholastic Athletic Administrator’s Association. The association is compromised of principals and athletic directors across the state of Utah.

Bean has a long career with many notches in his belt pertaining to working with athletics as well as teaching, coaching and wearing the title of Carbon High School Principal. The multitude of experiences Bean has resulted in many professional relationships as well as governing board and committee appointments that have been accredited to benefiting the Carbon School District as well as the state.

“We’re lucky to have someone like Bruce, who is so well respected throughout the state, to represent Carbon County,” said Carbon School District Superintendent Lance Hatch.
