Annually, Miner’s Trading Post located in East Carbon hosts a parking lot party. The proceeds from this party, featuring booths, games, foods and the like, benefit Bruin Point Elementary School.
The school then uses the proceeds provided by the fundraiser to conduct various business for the students, faculty and staff.
One such use was demonstrated on Friday as the students were presented with their brand new school t-shirts. The student body gathered in the cafeteria to be gifted the shirts, which boast the school’s new logo on the front and the revised BEAR motto on the back.
These t-shirts will be worn each Friday to showcase Bruin Point’s Spirit Day.
“Thank you Miner’s and all the sponsors of the parking lot party,” school staff shared.
