Bruin Point Elementary teamed up with McDonald’s Tuesday night to earn funds for the school. Students, teachers and staff stood outside with signs promoting the event, while hungry customers gladly purchased food inside the restaurant in support of Bruin Point.
McDonald’s store owners John and Amber Hopkins, donated 50% of all counter sales during the two hour period to the school. By the end of McTeacher Night, Bruin Point earned $800.
Throughout the year, the Hopkins sponsor similar events to show their support for the local community.
