The Buckhorn Archery Club began again on Jan. 18. The club meets each Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Recreation Center in Castle Dale.

Alayna Robinson and Sherri Jensen have once again organized the 10 weeks of shoots for over 75 members. Dues for members are $20 for a family and $10 an individual while anyone 18 or under shoots for free. Everyone is invited to come and shoot or just come and watch.

Each member must supply their own bows, arrows and equipment. The club has targets and scoresheets. Scores are kept each week and an overall score is entered at the end of the 10 weeks, culminating on awards night with prizes, free shoots, and a pizza party. Plaques are awarded to all participants.

Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife has been a supporting sponsor for the club.
