A furious second-half comeback and dominant overtime period propelled the Carbon High Lady Dinos past Delta 45-37 Tuesday in Delta.
The Rabbits took a 26-10 lead into the half, but Carbon responded with a 26-10 second-half to force overtime. The Lady Dinos won the overtime period 9-1.
Carbon now leads Region 12 with a 5-0 record. Delta sits in second place at 4-1.
Miranda Averett led the Lady Dinos with 15 points. Kelcy Otani and Lexi Gagon put in nine points each. Kennedy Springer led all scorers with 19 points.
Carbon won its sixth straight contest and currently sits at 12-3 on the season.
The Lady Dinos next host Payson on Thursday at 7 p.m.
