The Carbon County Fair took a page out of the International Days’ handbook and for the first time ever will include a Burnout Competition at this year’s fair. The Burnout Competition typically held during International Days has become a community favorite, leaving people of all ages in awe.
Now car enthusiasts and fans won’t have to wait until August for that sweet smell of burning rubber. The Burnout Competition will be held Friday, May 31 at the east parking lot of the Softball Fields and is scheduled to start at 7 p.m., with same-day registration beginning at 6 p.m.
