Angel Auto opened in Price in December of 2015. Owned by Kevin Norried, Angel Auto is the brain child of the Carbon County businessman’s long-term dream to own an auto dealership.
Managed by Corina MacKnight, the cherry on top of the dealership came when she found the perfect name for the business.
“When we were trying to think of the name, we went through so many,” MacKnight said. “When I thought of Angel Auto, I knew that was it.”
More than a year following MacKnight’s mother’s passing, the manager continued to find feathers, seemingly coming from her guardian angel watching over her in heaven. After the name Angel Auto came to MacKnight, the dealership was ready to open for business.
Angel Auto offers a personalized buying experience for pre-owned vehicles. MacKnight will work with each customer from the moment they begin their search for a vehicle until they drive off the lot, including financing for those with less than perfect credit scores.
In addition, Norried and MacKnight also pride themselves on affordable pre-owned cars, minimizing costs when possible to help the customer save.
“We own the building and we don’t have a huge staff, which means we keep our overhead low and pass those savings on,” MacKnight explained. “We save money so that the customer can save money.”
With a modest selection of cars to choose from, MacKnight will work with customers in their search of the perfect vehicle, even if it is not on the lot. The dealership always aims to buy quality pre-owned cars that come with a free Carfax history report.
“We only buy quality cars,” MacKnight explained. “We are very selective about the cars that we buy.”
Angel Auto is located at 441 East 100 North in Price and is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment, excluding Sundays.
