After racking up two decades of experience, Elesha Soto has decided to take her career to the next level by opening a salon on Price’s Main Street.
Soto has been serving clients for 20 years, seven of which have been self employed. This work started at a reputable beauty school near San Francisco and has spanned throughout northern California in high-end salons. Now, nearly two years of living in Carbon County, Soto decided to settle her roots and expand her career in the local area.
“I saw it suitable to move on to the next level and open my own salon,” she said.
Her salon, Cuts Plus, opened its doors officially in May. Now, customers can find a full range of salon services, including cuts and color treatments as well as barber services. Cuts Plus also offers perms, chemical straightening, facial waxing, eyelash extensions and more. Soto has also been joined by Brittany McCourt, who will be offering services to local clients.
“Cuts Plus is a family salon, locally owned and operated with unbeatable pricing,” Soto said.
To make prices event better, Cuts Plus offers discounts to local college students as well as senior citizens. Ongoing coupons are also available for further discounts.
While affordable prices might be the draw to Cuts Plus, Soto aims to turn each person that walks through the door into a long-term client.
“Being a people person, my favorite part is meeting new people,” she said. While clients might be regulars for years to come, Soto understands the importance of continuous training to meet new demands. “Throughout my career, I have maintained ongoing training with the latest trends, styles, cuts and colors.”
Cuts Plus is located at 15 East Main Street in Price. Currently, clients can visit the salon Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. However, Soto eventually aims to open Cuts Plus daily to serve clients. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call (435) 637-2269.
