Business Spotlight: Farmhouse Signs & Sayings

Home decorations can easily rack up a high price tag. After seeing a $600 price tag for a single sign, local Jaime Anderson saw a chance to create her own masterpiece. Upon making her own hand-painted creation, Anderson took the opportunity to offer her skills to the public.

Thus, Farmhouse Signs & Sayings was born, offering hand-painted, rustic farmhouse signs to customers. Made out of stained and painted wood, the signs stand on their own on shelves or tables or can be hung, adding rustic flare to any setting.

“It’s nice to be able to have something like this in Emery County,” Anderson said. “A place you can buy a gift for a holiday or special occasion or just for yourself.”

Anderson creates her own signs that are in stock, but the unique aspect of her business is the customizable option.

“I can make signs to anyone’s specifications,” she explained. “Customers can choose their own quote, size and colors for their sign. Some basic designs can also be added.”

The signs are 100% hand-crafted, starting when Anderson builds the frame until the last of the paint dries. Signs are then distributed locally and even statewide.

“I can package and ship a sign anywhere,” Anderson said.

More examples of Anderson’s work can be found on Facebook by searching “Farmhouse Signs & Sayings.” Orders can also be placed via Facebook as well as by calling or texting (435) 590-8175.

“I just want to thank everyone that has supported my business so far,” Anderson said. “I am so grateful that I can offer something local residents want by doing something I thoroughly enjoy.”

Anderson operates her business out of her Orangeville home, where she lives with her husband, Jared, and their two children.
