Business Spotlight: Lost Treasures

Lost Treasures has now inhabited a portion of Huntington’s Main Street for one year, bringing unique items to Castle Country shoppers through its high quality, yard sale themed vision.

The establishment, which features high-quality used furniture, tools, select sporting goods, special décor items and more, came about through the efforts and visions of Bruce & Tammy Pierce and Elroy and Jan Mortensen.

Now, a year later, the establishment has continued to grow through the efforts of the two couples, expanding to offer new items weekly. At Lost Treasures, customers can find both new and gently used items, ranging from an antique desk to jewelry, and new tools to fishing and camping equipment.

With such a variety of items offered, there is something for everyone, including a specialty man cave and kids’ corner in addition to items for an entire household. While many of these items have been previously owned, the Lost Treasures team prides itself on only selling quality, working items that have been cleaned thoroughly before selling.

“We aren’t selling junk,” Tammy Pierce explained. “These are high-quality items that are in working order offered at a great price.”

Along with great prices, Lost Treasures also boasts a layaway program for larger items, such as furniture, as well as gift certificates.

With Lost Treasures’ first anniversary quickly approaching, the store’s team has stayed busy preparing for an anniversary event to thank its customers. Scheduled for June 9 and 10, the anniversary celebration will feature free hot dogs, drinks and the like. The store will also have drawings for fun and exciting items for the anniversary, to which the entire community is invited.

Lost Treasures is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. After hours appointments are available as well. The store is located at 110 North Main Street in Huntington and can be reached by calling (435) 687-9066. To stay up to date on new and specialty items, like Lost Treasure’s Facebook page.
