Montica Cox is going on her fourth year owning and managing Moments 2 Cherish, a scrapbook and gift boutique in Huntington. Cox has always had a passion for scrapbooking. Prior to opening her own shop, she sold supplies and premade scrapbook layouts from her home. She loves expressing her creativity through her work and documenting the lives of her children. Cox loves to help others do the same, which is why she started her boutique.
Moments 2 Cherish offers up-to-date scrapbook supplies, pre-made scrapbook page layouts, paper supplies, wood cutouts, vintage custom jewelry and purses, magnetic frames and crafts, as well as pre-made baby, wedding and birthday gift baskets. The store also carries the popular brand Willow Tree.
Moments 2 Cherish also offers classes to help customers complete some of the popular crafts offered in the store. Every second and last Friday of the month, a Crop ‘til Midnight class is offered. On every third Thursday, Friday and Saturday of the month, a craft class that changes every month is offered. Pre-registration for classes isn’t required but it is recommended to ensure a spot and a craft. Find them on Facebook to see what crafts are being offered each month.
