Owned and operated by Carbon County native Natalee Wilson, Nurse Possum’s Medical Uniforms offers scrubs for every worker’s budget in the local area. After years of not being able to find a variety of sizes and styles of scrubs for work, Wilson started her business to specialize in meeting each customer’s needs for scrubs. With the help of Ryan Murray from the USU Eastern Center for Workforce Development and her supportive, Wilson got her business up and running in April of 2015.
“I just want to thank my family and Ryan for being so helpful,” Wilson said.
Located in Price, Nurse Possum’s Medical Uniforms offers scrubs to men and women in sizes XXS to 5XL. Larger sizes can also be ordered if needed. The business sells a variety of designs ranging from solid colors to holiday themed scrubs. Customers can also find a wide array of patterned pieces as well as floral, camouflage and animal designs.
At Nurse Possum’s, customers can finds pieces as low as $7 while pricier items top out at $18. Wilson can also fill custom and batch orders. Gift certificates are also available. In the future, Wilson will also aim to carry shoes, stethoscopes and more.
Because Wilson works another job in addition to running Nurse Possum’s, hours change weekly. Customers can find store hours posted weekly to Facebook at “Nurse Possum’s Medical Uniforms and Accessories Price Utah.” Photos of merchandise and special sales are also posted on the business’ Facebook page.
