Business Spotlight: Super Sudsy

Gary and Shane Rea are a father-son business combination. According the Shane’s wife, Jaylynn Rea, they own two car washes in the Carbon County area; the Super Sudsy car washes. One is located in Helper and the other is in Price next to Smith’s Food and Drug.

Gary Rea, the father, is originally from East Carbon. The two both lived in Riverton for a while but moved back to the Carbon County area and have been residing here for the past ten years.

The Reas have worked in the car wash business for eighteen solid years. The Super Sudsy that is located in Price is an automatic wash. For the best wash available for your vehicle, it only costs five dollars. The wash that is located in Helper is a self-serve car wash and it only costs $1 to soak down your car yourself.

The current Super Sudsy washes are hopefully only the first two of many washes according to Jaylynn. Within the next handful of years, the Reas are hopeful on expanding on their business and putting in another automatic wash in the area.

If you would like to have your car washed at one of the Super Sudsy locations, you can go to the Price location anytime between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and mention this article to the car wash attendant to get a free wash.
