The Workout Place located in the Huntington Old City Hall is a fun and effective place for anyone at any level of fitness to get up and move.
The Workout Place offers a wide variety of workouts that will fit any level of fitness as well as multiple trainers who are specialized in different techniques and fitness programs. Owner Sheryl Cox along with Melany Weaver are certified Zumba instructors. Other fitness experts include Tom Scotts and Tiffany Justice.
There is a class for everyone at The Workout Place. They offer a wide variety of classes which include, Zumba Turbo Kick, Pump and R.I.P.P.E.D (Resistance Intervals, Power, Plyometric, Endurance and Diet). R.I.P.P.E.D. is a fun, energetic and effective workout that targets all areas of the body. With many classes to choose from, there is a class that can match any individual’s fitness level in a fun workout.
The trainers are what make The Workout Place stand out. They are all very experienced and have a passion for health and fitness. The trainers are all personable and will work with each person’s fitness level. They will also help modify any class or program to fit the customers exact needs.
The 90 Day Challenge at The Workout Place has now begun, but it is not too late to stop by and sign up. There is a $30 dollar fee to sign up and prizes will be given for most inches lost, the largest amount of fat percentage lost and the most classes attended in the 90 day duration. The 90 Day Challenge will also include nutrition tips from the trainers.

The class schedule this year is as follows: Monday and Wednesday there is Zumba at 6 a.m. and R.I.P.P.E.D. at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays they offer Turbo Kick at 6 a.m., Pump at 6 p.m. and Zumba at 7:15 p.m. On Saturday, R.I.P.P.E.D. starts at 8:30 a.m.
