Busy Week for Local High School Teams

In sports, this week will be a busy one for local high school teams after their Spring Break.

The fun starts tomorrow when Carbon travels to Wasatch for the rematch of last week’s close game, which Carbon won 3-2. If the Dinos win the game, it will be their 13th win in a row and will clinch at least a share of the Region 10 title with three games left to play.

Also playing tomorrow are the baseball and softball teams from Emery High, who both host Manti, the Carbon softball team, who plays at ALA, and the Grand High soccer team, who plays North Sevier.

The Dino’s soccer team will play Wednesday at Park City. Park City currently sits in second place in the region and a win would be exciting for Carbon, who sits in fifth.

Thursday brings more baseball and softball, with San Juan’s baseball team traveling to South Sevier for a doubleheader, and Grand’s baseball and softball teams visiting North Sevier.

Our live Game of the Week is on Friday, when the Carbon baseball team hosts Union at 2:30 p.m. Also playing that day are the Carbon softball team, who play at Wasatch, the Emery softball and baseball teams, who play at Juab, and the Grand boys soccer team who play at home against N. Sevier.
