Price will host the 10-year-old Cal Ripken State All-Star games this week. Baseball action will begin Thursday morning at 9 a.m. and run until 8 p.m. at the Toy Atwood Baseball Complex. Also beginning at 9 a.m. Friday and Saturday, games will run each day.
Carbon’s 10-year-old Cal Ripken blue and white teams will participate in the three-day event.
Also competing in the Southern Region All-Star Tournament will be teams from North and South Sevier, Vernal, Roosevelt, Wayne, Emery and Gunnison.
Carbon and Emery counties share a rich love for baseball. The state tournment is a big deal for both communities, especially the players. Come cheer on local sluggers as they compete in the Cal Ripken all star tournament.
