EAST CARBON- Our loving son, grandson, brother, nephew and friend, James Cameron Nelson, age 19, passed away unexpectedly on October 2, 2017.
He was born March 11, 1998 in Price, Utah to James Martinez and Kristin Nelson; later adopted by Jason and Tiffany Nelson.
Cameron graduated from high school in 2015. He always had a passion for many sports including, baseball, football, basketball and wrestling where he excelled and was a champion. He was a ray of sunshine with a beautiful smile. His amazing personality and charisma could light up any room. Cameron loved spending time with his family outdoors: fishing, jeeping, camping, hunting, and hiking. He loved hanging out and playing ball with his friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survived by his father, James Martinez, East Carbon; mother, Kristin Nelson, Moab; sisters, Kaitlen Caldwell, Price, Kourtnee Nelson, Texas, Caleb Nelson, Provo; grandparents, Bob and Drusilla Martinez, East Carbon, James and Lynda Nelson, Ferron; Jason (Tiffany) Nelson, Highland, UT; many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends..
Funeral service, Monday, October 9, 2017, 12:00 noon, Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Monday morning from 10:00-11:45 a.m. at Mitchell’s. Interment, East Carbon City Cemetery.
