These are questions the nine classroom finalists tried to answer as they competed in the Cleveland Elementary geography bee on Thursday afternoon.
After three rounds, the three finalists were determined. A few more rounds were needed to determine the school winner. Logan Huntington answered the most questions correctly in the championship rounds and was deemed the winner with Corbin Jensen earning second and Ellen Bodily finishing in third. All participants were given a certificate and Huntington received a medal.
Huntington will next take a written exam to see if he qualifies for the state bee in March.
The judges for the event were Mrs. Wandell and Mrs. McMullin. Principal Lofley read the rules and questions to the students.
