The annual Relay for Life event in Carbon County took place at USU Eastern this past weekend with the theme “Finish the Fight.”
The event kicked off on Friday night with a dinner for cancer survivors, an opening ceremony, a car cruise and the survivor walk. Community members joined with cancer survivors for a night of walking, raising funds for cancer research and honoring those who have suffered, survived and passed.
Many community members stayed throughout the night before the festivities were wrapped up on Saturday morning.
