In the first game of day two of the Pacific Southwest Regional Babe Ruth Baseball Tournament, Tri-Valley played extremely well all around to eliminate Beaver. Tri-Valley was disappointed in its first game of the tournament and came out determined and won 12-0.

Carbon also came out with a strong performance to beat Eastside 10-0. CJ Smuin was the player of the game. He pitched five scoreless innings while Wyatt Falk went 3-3 with 2 RBIs.

Kai Red Sox handled South Tahoe by a score of 15-0. El Segundo continued their strong effort with a 11-3 win over Hanford.

Wednesday’s games will start off at 1 p.m. between Hanford and Tri-Valley. Then, at 3:30 p.m., South Tahoe will take on Carbon. The losers of both those games will be eliminated from the tournament, so all four teams will be fighting to stay alive. The final game of the day will feature the match-up between the Kai Red Sox and El Segundo. The winner of that game will not only have a bye on Thursday but will go straight to the championship game on Friday.
