The Carbon High school band department presented its annual festival concert on Tuesday evening.
Under the direction of Adam Cunningham and Marcos Navarro, the concert began with Entry Percussion with “Plastik Surgery.” Advanced percussion followed with “Ceremonium.”
The CHS Jazz Band was up next with “Moten Swing,” “Fly Me to the Moon” and “Caravan.” Following the jazz band was the Wind Ensemble with “The Liberty Bell,” “Lux Aurumque” and “Wild Dance.”
The performance ended with the symphonic band performing “Colonel Bogey,” “Blessed Are They” and “Iron and Ice.”
On Thursday following the concert, the band traveled to Delta for the regional competition.
