Carbon “C” To Be Restored and Repainted

C-Hill.jpeg

Over the last 80 years, the large “C” has overlooked the Price area. Over time, the local landmark has continued to fade and become almost unrecognizable.

A committee has recently moved to repaint the “C” and bring it back to life. The project will solely run on donations from Carbon Alumni and locals in the Castle Country area. The funds donated will go toward the paint and supplies for the project. All of excess funds will be put towards the upkeep of the “C” for years to come.

The committee has planned to repaint the “C” on the morning of Saturday, June 30 (subject to change). The committee will be at the next Price City Council meeting on June 13.To learn more about the project, please attend the meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers.

If you would like to donate to the project, a GoFundMe page has been started and is currently accepting donations.
