The Carbon Dinos capped off the regular season on the soccer field with a win against Juab on Thursday. The win came after the two teams ended a game with a tie, 2-2, earlier this season.
Carbon jumped out of the gates to take a dominating lead, notching four goals in the first half. Adam Morley, Austin Engar, Luis Estudillo and Parker Humes shared the ball as they each connected with the net.
The Dinos held Juab scoreless in the first, taking a 4-0 advantage into the break.
Juab was reinvigorated in the second and threatened the Carbon win as the team recorded three goals in the second. Carbon was not able to find the back of the net again, but secured the win by a narrow one-goal margin.
The Dinos finish the regular season victors of three games. The team dropped six and tied two in region play.
