As students say goodbye to school for the summer, the Boys & Girls Club of Carbon County is preparing for a summer filled with fun activities and field trips.

The junior and teen programs at the club offer many of the same activities throughout the week. The junior program is for anyone in first through fifth grade and the teen program is for anyone in sixth grade until they graduate high school.

The juniors will go on field trips every Tuesday and Thursday, rotating through various activities and field trips. Teens will also rotate through activities, but will go on Wednesdays.

The club has several field trips planned, including visits to the bowling alley, the new Jetman Digicade and the Desert Wave Pool. Aside from field trips, the club will also be offering different activities each day.

During International Days, the club will also be partnering with the Desert Wave Pool for a pool party on Friday, July 27.

The Boys & Girls Club will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday for the duration of the summer. Children ages 5-18 are welcome to join for $20 for the entire summer. Club Director Olivia Dudding recommends registering your child as soon as possible to reserve their seat for field trips and activities throughout the summer.
