While trick or treating is a staple of the Halloween season, it is oftentimes blustery outside. This inhibits trick or treaters from showing off their costumes properly due to needing coats and other warm gear, or not venturing out at all.

To help combat this and as a way to spread the celebration of the holiday to those that reside within the centers, Parkdale Health and Rehab, Pinnacle Nursing and Rehabilitation and the Heirloom Inn all welcomed local youngsters to trick or treat within their facilities.

With themes such as Harry Potter and guides to show which rooms were participating in the events, many local kids were able to gather candy and other goodies while staying warm and visiting with the residents.
