Wednesday was a busy day for the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce as the organization cut five ribbons at the Southeastern Integrative Healing Arts Center. The building, located at 790 N Cedar Hills Drive, holds several businesses that share space with Cindi Pierce, the owner.
As Pierce gave a tour, she said that each business owner has the freedom to use whatever room that they need rather than renting a single space. “We all just share the place,” said Pierce. “We all have other jobs.”
There are several new things happening at the center. The center has four new massage therapists and this month, the center will doing a drawing for free massages. Soon to come will be a tarot card reader and a medium.
The center is home to more services than just massage. It also includes heating beds, a sauna, chiropractic services and acupuncture. The center is also home to the Intermountain Massage Therapy School. As the center plans to expand, construction of a new building is already underway.
