After a number of years working step by step to make the vision a reality, the Castle Country Pregnancy Resource Center celebrated a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday afternoon.

The center welcomes those that are expecting, current mothers and more. Pregnancy tests, peer counseling, a learn-while-you-earn program and post-abortion peer counseling are all available through the center. Furthermore, the center also acts as a type of store for mothers and mothers to be. By completing classes through the center, baby bucks are earned that are used in-store to purchase maternity clothes, baby clothing, diapers, blankets and more.

The center is not directly affiliated with any specific church, though it is a Christian ministry and represented by churches in the Carbon and Emery area. Volunteers are welcome at the center since it is operated strictly on a volunteer basis with no paid positions.

The Castle Country Pregnancy Resource Center is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is located at 836 East 100 North, Suite 5 in Price. The contact personnel for the center is Jodie Wells, who may be reached at (435) 637-5683 for questions and volunteer opportunities.

More information on the center may also be found by visiting www.castlecountryprc.org.
