Carbon County Native Urges Locals to Participate and Give Back

The season of giving will soon be upon us. Carson Tatton, a native student and friend from Carbon County, is currently enrolled at Utah State University. Tatton is conducting a special campaign to support Children’s Justice Centers.

The drive will be sponsored at the University. Tatton felt pressed to invite the citizens of Carbon County to join the cause. All items collected locally will remain in the area to support the local Children’s Justice Center and others that are in need.

Items in need are children’s pajamas for Christmas, cardstock, paper plates, cups, paper towels, notebooks, toilet paper, copy paper and the like. Anyone interested in donating may contact Tatton at (435) 650-5296 or Carryl at (435) 650-6043. They are happy to pick up items if need be. There will also be a drop box at Smith’s as well as Tatton’s home, which is located at 1345 West 300 North in Price.

Special campaigns will also be taking place throughout the county. The hope is to have the drive completed by September 30.

“Remember, charity never faileth and those in need are ever near,” stated Tatton.
