Carbon County Recreation is offering a wide variety of recreation options for locals this Fall. The recreation opportunities include: Youth Soccer, Youth Flag Football, Tennis Lessons, Horseshoe League, Tumbling, Instructional Volleyball and Co-ed Indoor Volleyball.
Many of the leagues are currently accepting registrations. For information on the registration deadlines and costs, age restrictions, game nights and more, please refer to the following:
Youth Soccer
Carbon Rec. is currently taking registrations for the upcoming youth soccer season.
The deadline is September 6. Soccer is for all kids ages four and up. The fee is $37 with jersey, $25 without. There is an early bird discount if you register by September 6.
Games will be played on Mondays and Wednesdays at Castle Heights.
There is also a league for junior high and high school age kids that will play on Tuesdays, Thursdays and some Saturdays.
Youth Flag Football
Carbon Rec. is currently taking registration for their youth flag football league.
The deadline is September 6. The league is for all boys and girls in the first to fourth grade. The fee is $28 and includes a team t-shirt.
Games will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at Creekview Elementary.
Tennis Lessons
Fall tennis lessons begin September 7 for youth and adults. Sessions will be Monday and Wednesdays at 5pm. The fee is $20 per person.

Fall Horseshoe League
The Carbon Rec. Fall Horseshoe League will begin on September 6.
The fee is $20 per team.
Play will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the newly renovated pits on 300 East in Price.
Tumbling
Carbon Rec.’s tumbling program returns on Tuesdays at the Light House High School beginning September 6.
The fee is $18 per month. The instructor is Pineau Nielson.
This program is for a kids ages three and up.
Instructional Volleyball
This fall Carbon Rec. will host an instructional volleyball league for all kids ages 8 and up.
The registration deadline is September 13. The fee is just $25.
Play will be on Monday and Wednesday evenings. They will focus on learning the fundamentals, sportsmanship, and skills training.
Co-ed Indoor Volleyball League
Registrations for Carbon Rec.’s upcoming Adult Co-ed Volleyball season end September 27.
The fee is $225 per team. There will be two divisions if enough teams register. Carbon Rec. accepts Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
The league will play on Tuesdays at Mont Harmon Junior High or Carbon High School.В
